Hi Everyone! Last week we talked about the popular excuse of having to get in shape before getting a trainer. Moving on to another excuse that may keep us from going after our goals, here’s one we trainers hear plenty of.
I’ve failed in the past, so at this point, why bother?
As humans, we are wired to seek out pleasure and avoid pain. In this case, our fear of failure stops us in our tracks. We won’t take action on our fitness/wellness goals because the fear of failing to achieve them is worse, in our minds, than taking that first step.
Don’t allow your past to dictate your future, and don’t allow your fears to dictate your actions. If you have tried in the past, perhaps even multiple times, and you haven’t been successful or haven’t been able to hang on to your success, take comfort knowing that it doesn’t have to happen again. You can and you will succeed.
Perhaps in the past you were misinformed. Maybe you got caught up in the newest quick fix fad. Or maybe you didn’t get enough support or motivation. Maybe you needed more nutritional guidance. Or maybe you didn’t have someone holding you accountable and pushing you to focus on your goals. Whatever the case may be, just because you couldn’t find success before, doesn’t mean you should stop trying.
Instead of continuing a series of false starts, find out what your body needs by training with one of our Fit Pros. With the guidance, support, and motivation of a Fit Pro, you will learn what your body needs, your questions & concerns will be answered, and you will get the motivation you need to put you on the path to lasting success.
Stop the cycle by getting the information, motivation, and support you need to be successful. The fear of failure and the pain of remaining the same do not outweigh the pleasure of achieving your goals and feeling healthier and better about yourself.

The topic you describe here is really important. However, the mentioned type of training cannot be applied to anyone.
You are absolutely right! But here, we have everything necessary to prepare even the pre - beginners to extensive physical training.
Very useful post! Thanks for sharing! Now I’ll be planning my visit to your gym to take part in some fitness classes.
